Built as the tallest building in Brisbane at the time (69 storeys), The Aurora tower incorporates the heritage listed façade of the old Country Life Building.
Key to the marketing success of the building was the optimisation of the floor plate to maximise the views on every level.
Floor to ceiling glazing was used to capture the views from each apartment with solid panels applied to the western façade to assist achieve the required building energy rating.
The building mix offers predominantly one and two bedroom apartments on lower levels with two storey sky homes and half floor penthouses on the upper levels of the tower.
A specialist slip form was used on site during construction to maximise the speed of construction over a relatively short building program.
